on the backstamp and decoration, it was an antique Doulton Burslem “Jersey” pattern piece, made in England around the late 19th century, before or near 1901. Doulton began using the “Royal Doulton” name after receiving a royal warrant in 1901, so the older “Doulton Burslem” marking supports a Victorian-era date
