Looking for a Nanny / Babysitter

The nanny will be responsible for taking care of two children aged 2 years and 8 years in a safe, caring, and friendly environment. Main duties include supervising the children throughout the day, assisting with feeding, preparing simple meals or snacks, helping the younger child with bathing, changing clothes, and maintaining proper hygiene. The nanny should also help the older child with basic daily routines, school readiness, and ensure both children are comfortable and well cared for. The candidate should be patient, trustworthy, energetic, and attentive to the children’s needs at all times. Keeping the children engaged in safe indoor activities, storytelling, educational play, and maintaining a clean and organized environment around the children are also important responsibilities. The applicant should be below 50 years of age and preferably living near the Kotte area for easy transportation and punctual attendance. Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or housekeeping related to children will be considered an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have good patience, kindness, and the ability to handle children calmly and safely. She should be attentive, energetic, and capable of managing daily routines for children aged 2 years and 8 years. Basic knowledge of child hygiene, feeding, safety, and maintaining a clean environment is important. Good communication skills, honesty, discipline, and reliability are highly expected. The nanny should also be able to build a friendly relationship with the children while maintaining proper care, supervision, and responsibility throughout the day.
